Our City buses have a fresh new look and a new app, making it easier than ever to get around Sunny Isles Beach.

This user-friendly mobile app offers enhanced route tracking and real-time GPS arrivals and departures. Riders can view a live map, browse stop locations, and receive important service updates – all in one place.

City Bus Routes

The City provides free community bus service seven days a week with three lines running simultaneously for the convenience of residents and visitors.

The City Bus also runs on an extended schedule for many of our special events.

  • Orange Line #1 - runs Monday to Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 7:35 p.m.
  • Orange Line #2 - runs Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 7:50 p.m.
  • Blue Line - runs Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.

Things You Should Know Before You Ride

  • Free Service: Riding the City Bus is completely free.
  • Arrive Early: Please be at your stop a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time.
  • Estimated Times: Arrival times may vary due to traffic conditions.
  • Track Your Ride: Download the City Bus mobile app to view the bus’s current location and estimated arrival times in real time.
  • School Zone Adjustment: During school drop-off (7:30 – 8:45 a.m.) and pick-up times (1:30 – 3:30 p.m., except Wednesdays 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.), the northbound bus will not access Pelican Community Park (Stop 17) via 181 Drive. Instead, it will stop at 181 Drive and Atlantic Boulevard (northbound).
  • No Tipping: Tipping is not permitted.
  • Children: Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Onboard Rules: Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed on the bus.
  • Pets: Pets are not permitted, with the exception of service animals as defined by applicable law.
  • Need Help? Feel free to ask the driver if you have any questions.

All City Buses are ADA-accessible and equipped with wheelchair lifts to accommodate passengers with mobility needs.
