City offices, including the Government Center, Gateway Center, Welcome Center, Pelican Community Park, and The Spot, will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
Every month, the City of Sunny Isles Beach organizes a Beach Cleanup for community members to come together and do something good for the environment. We rotate starting points between three different locations, ensuring each time we cover new ground. We provide gloves, garbage bags and water for participants. Community service hours are available for high school students.
