Intracoastal Sports Park

Only Sunny Isles Beach residents with a valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card may reserve courts online. 

Residents may bring up to three (3) guests per tennis reservation and up to nine (9) guests per basketball reservation. The guests do not have to be Sunny Isles Beach residents but must have valid waivers on file. 

A court can be reserved for one (1) hour at a time.  

Only three (3) reservations per week (one (1) per day) per household to allow fair access to the courts. 

Reservation times are on the hour every hour. 

There is a ten (10) minute grace period for all reservations. After ten (10) minutes, a reservation will be forfeited. 

Only one (1) court may be reserved at a time by the same household. 

Basketball court reservations are available daily from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

If there is no reservation on a court, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Reservations are free for residents with a valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card. 

The fee for resident guests is $5/hr per guest. 

Non-residents cannot make a reservation in advance online, only in person. The fee for non-residents is $30/hr per person. 

• Anyone who pays the non-resident rate, but claims to be a resident, must bring in proof of residency and apply for a Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card within five (5) business days of the reservation to be considered for a refund. A refund will be processed if and when a Resident ID Card is approved.

The fee for hotel guests, with a valid hotel reservation, is $15/hr per person. 

Players are required to check in at the office with City staff before walking onto the courts. 

City staff will confirm the reservation, verify waivers, and assign a court. 

Walk-in players without a court reservation must check in with City staff to confirm court availability and register/sign up for court time. 

There are a limited number of tennis rackets available for rent. Patrons wishing to use a racket will sign a rental form stipulating that they will be responsible for any damages/theft. 

• Racket rentals are free for residents with a valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card

• Non-residents & hotel guests: $5/hr 

• Replacement cost for a lost/stolen/damaged racket: $50 

There are a limited number of basketballs available for rent. Patrons wishing to use a basketball will sign a rental form stipulating that they will be responsible for any damages/theft. 

• Basketball rentals are free for residents. 

• Non-resident & hotel guests: $5/hr 

• Replacement cost for a lost/stolen/damaged basketball: $50

• Bottled beverages

• No baskets or more than six (6) tennis balls are allowed on a court. 

• Court reservations are for tennis and basketball only. No other sports or activities are allowed. 

• Appropriate athletic attire and shoes must be worn at all times. 

• Private tennis lessons are not permitted. 

• Do not enter the court area prior to your reservation time if the court is in use. 

• Spectators are not permitted on the court at any time. 

• Do not hang on the tennis nets. Only City staff can install/remove a net. 

• No dunking or hanging on the basketball rims. 

• Only City staff can adjust the height of the basketball hoops.  

• No food or drinks (except water) are allowed on the courts.

• Limited parking is available for park users only.

• No beach parking is allowed.

• No overnight parking allowed.

The following are prohibited in the park, and can be enforced by any City employee: 

• Bicycles, Skates, Skateboards, or Scooters 

• Motorized Vehicles (i.e. scooters, e-bikes, segways) 

• Pets 

• Glass Containers 

• Alcoholic Beverages 

• Grilling or Cooking 

• Fireworks or open flames 

• Camping 

• Amplified Music 

• Feeding Animals  

• No Smoking 

• No Fishing
