Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Gateway Center, Pelican Community Park and The Spot will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Presidents' Day.
Only the City Bus Orange Line #2 will operate from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
City parks will be open for normal operating hours.
The Police Department remains open 24/7 as always.
