Federal Holiday - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Gateway Center, Pelican Community Park and The Spot will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

• Only the City Bus Orange Line #2 will run from 8 AM – 3 PM.
• Parks will be open for normal operating hours.
• The Police Department remains open 24/7 as always.
• The Miami-Dade Sunny Isles Beach Branch Library will be closed.
• Miami-Dade Transit will operate on a regular schedule.
• Miami-Dade Solid Waste Management will not collect curbside garbage and recycling.
• The Post Office will be closed.
