The Sunny Isles Beach Ocean Rescue Division is dedicated to protecting the lives and well-being of our residents, visitors, and beachgoers. Our highly trained lifeguards are nationally certified by the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) and maintain watch over the beach and ocean, respond to emergencies, provide lifesaving and first-aid assistance, and work proactively to prevent accidents before they happen.

While the beach provides endless opportunities for recreation and relaxation, ocean conditions can change quickly and may present hidden hazards, including rip currents, changing surf, severe weather, and other water-related risks. Our lifeguards continually train and maintain their skills to ensure they are prepared to respond to the unique conditions of the South Florida coastline.
