Lane closure on Northbound SR/A1A Collins Avenue at 17400 Block

A temporary lane closure will take place at northbound 17425 Collins Avenue on Tuesday, June 23 from 9 AM - 4 PM for scheduled upgrades to Samson Oceanfront Park. 

Traffic Impacts:

  • One northbound lane on SR A1A /Collins Avenue will be closed (far east lane).

Pedestrian & Samson Oceanfront Park Access Changes:

  • The north walkway into the park will be closed.
  • The north pedestrian crosswalk at 174 Street across A1A will be closed; pedestrians will be directed to use the south crosswalk.
  • The north path into the park will be closed.

Park Area Closures:

  • The playground and seating area will be closed.

Beach Access:

  • Beachgoers will be directed to use the emergency access path to reach the beach.
  • Restroom facilities will remain accessible.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and use caution in the area.
