The Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Gateway Center, Pelican Community Park and The Spot will be closed on Monday, February 16, in observance of Presidents' Day.
Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The Spot is Sunny Isles Beach’s exclusive hangout designed just for teens. This vibrant community space is the hub for all teen events and programs, open to residents ages 13-17 with a teen access card. Whether you’re up for intense gaming tournaments, need a quiet place to tackle your homework in the study zone, or want to relax in our cozy lounge, The Spot has it all. Each day brings new opportunities for fun, learning, and making memories with friends.
Ready to make the most of The Spot? To enjoy full access, teens need to obtain a Teen Membership Card, which opens the door to all the exciting activities we offer! Parents or guardians with a valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident Card must complete the Teen Membership Card application. Once approved, simply head over to The Spot so your teen can pick up their card. Please note that memberships need to be renewed annually.
