Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Golden Shores Park is a quiet community park nestled in the Golden Shores neighborhood, featuring a shaded playground, benches and picnic tables.
The following are prohibited in all City parks as per City Ordinance 201, and can be enforced by any City employee:
No trespassing outside of park hours. All Sunny Isles Beach Police Officers are authorized representatives, and may advise any person to leave park premises. Failure to vacate the premises after being so instructed may result in an arrest for trespassing after warning pursuant to Florida Statutes 810.08 and 810.09.
Reminder: No animals are permitted in the parks with the exception of recognized service animals. Dogs are allowed at designated dog parks. Dogs must remain on a leash and you must pick up after your pet. Containers are available for you to be a responsible pet owner.
