Booogie by the Beach

Come one, come all for some fun and fright! Enjoy carnival rides, delicious food, live entertainment, festive treats, and a haunted house that will leave you running for the exits! Booogie by the Beach will take place on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 from 7-10 p.m. at Pelican Community Park.

Wristbands - Required for Entry

A wristband is required for everyone to enter the event and participate in all activities, including rides, crafts, games, and the costume contest.

Wristbands will NOT be sold at the event.
Must be purchased in advance online or in-person at our city facilities.

General Sale (September 29 – October 24)

Residents (with valid Resident ID card): $5 per day
Non-residents - $50 per day
Online sales end Friday, October 24 at 4 p.m.

Important: admission to the haunted house is an additional $2 per person per trip. Tickets will be sold at the event. Only cash will be accepted.

Wristband Pick-up Locations and Deadlines

After purchasing online, wristbands must be picked up in advance at one of the following locations. To avoid long lines at the event, please collect your wristbands before the deadlines listed below:

Pelican Community Park

Monday – Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday: 8:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. (inside gym office)
Final pick-up: Thursday, October 23 at 8:30 p.m.

Government Center

Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Final pick-up: Thursday, October 23 at 6 p.m.

Gateway Center

Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Final pick-up: Friday, October 24 at 4 p.m.

Parking & Transportation

Parking will be free for the event from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.

NSE/SIB K-8 School parking garage

Skip the parking hassles and take the free City Bus, which will run on a special event route.

Show off your best costumes for a chance to win! Winners will be announced nightly.

Contest Details:

Entries will be accepted throughout both nights and winners will be announced through social media on Halloween.
Entries will be accepted until 9:30 p.m. each night.
Enter the contest at the photo booth.
