Thanksgiving closures

City offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28.

City Manager's Office

The City Manager, appointed by the Mayor and City Commission, oversees the city’s daily operations and ensures that the policies, directives, resolutions, and ordinances adopted by the City Commission are implemented and enforced. The City Manager also prepares and submits to the Commission a proposed annual budget and capital program.

Stan Morris Credentialed by International Local Government Management

Stan Morris, City Manager of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). Mr. Morris is one of over 1,300 local government management professionals currently credentialed through the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program.
