ONGOING CONSTRUCTION
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) started a bridge and roadway project along State Road (SR) A1A/Collins Avenue from 44 Street to 4700 Block, Indian Creek Drive from 41 Street to 44 Street and SR 112/W 41 Street over the Indian Creek Waterway Bridge in the City of Miami Beach. The project cost is an estimated $9.1 million and expected to be completed by Summer 2026.
Monday, August 11 through Friday, August 15, 2025
Work site set up, soft digs and tree work
- Continuing to mobilize crews and materials to work zone
- Performing clearing and grubbing along Indian Creek Drive between 41 Street and 44 Street
- Performing soft dig and exploratory work along Indian Creek Drive and Collins Avenue between 41 Street and the 4700 block
- Performing inlet protection installation
Lane Closures
- One northbound and/or southbound lane may be closed along Collins Avenue between from 41 Street and the 4700 Block from 10 a.m. and 2p.m.
