Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Gateway Center, Pelican Community Park and The Spot will be closed on Monday, February 16, in observance of Presidents' Day.
The City of Sunny Isles Beach proudly announces the return of its recurring art series, Art Uncorked, with a captivating exhibition during Miami Art Week. This event, presented in partnership with the acclaimed Paris-based gallery Espace Meyer Zafra and Sunny Isles Beach-based artist Mylene Costa, will run from December 1 to December 16, 2025, at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center.
The City will also host a special event titled “The Shape of Art: A Live Curation” on December 3 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, featuring wine and the opportunity to hear from gallerist Liliane Zafrani and artist Mylene Costa.
