Utility undergrounding work began Tuesday, January 6, in the Golden Shores neighborhood. As crews convert overhead utilities to underground service, residents may experience brief, temporary power outages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
City facilities, including the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Gateway Center, and Pelican Community Park will be closed on Friday, May 9, 2025, in observance of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
The SIBshuttle will operate on its regular schedule.
Parks will be open for regular operating hours.
The Police Department remains open 24/7, as always.
