SR826/Sunny Isles Blvd/SR A1A/NE 163 St Collins Ave Signal Work Begins
Beginning Monday August 25, traffic signal and sign installation work will begin at the SR 826/Sunny Isles Boulevard/NE 163 Street and SR A1A/Collins Avenue intersection. Work will include installing a new traffic signal and a new overhead sign along the existing bridge. Crews will begin with sign installation followed by underground signal and sidewalk work. Lane closures will occur for approximately 2 weeks. Lane closures will not take place every day, but only as needed. Overhead sign installation will occur during nighttime work hours. A detour will be in place during overhead sign installation.

Sign installation and signal work
- Performing signal work at SR 826/Sunny Isles Boulevard/NE 163 Street and SR A1A/Collins Avenue
- Performing overhead sign installation along eastbound Sunny Isles Boulevard at the Collins Avenue intersection on Tuesday night, August 26.
- A detour will be in place for the overhead sign installation. Motorists traveling eastbound on the Sunny Isles Boulevard bridge wising to continue on SR A1A/Collins Avenue will be directed to:
- Turn left onto westbound Sunny Isles Boulevard/NE 163 Street
- Turn right onto northbound North Bay Road
- Turn right onto eastbound 172 Street
- Continue north or south on Collins Avenue
Lane Closures
- On Tuesday night August 26, the eastbound through lanes will be closed along the SR 826/Sunny Isles Boulevard/NE 163 Street Bridge between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m
