Renovations to the North Bay Road Pedestrian Bridge are continuing with the next phase of improvements, which includes new surfacing, the addition of a bike lane, and the installation of new bollards.

To complete this work safely, periodic closures will be required. Please review the upcoming schedule:

Tuesday, April 29 – Friday, May 2, 2025

  • Construction work will occur from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Construction will pause during school dismissal (approximately 2:30 - 3:00 PM).
  • A pedestrian walkway will remain open; please use caution while passing through the area.

Friday, May 2 - Wednesday, May 21, 2025

  • Installation work will occur overnight, from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
  • The bridge will be closed during overnight work hours for your safety.

Thursday, May 22 - Friday, May 23, 2025

  • Final cleanup activities will take place during the day.
  • The bridge will remain open throughout this time.

About the Project

The North Bay Road Pedestrian Bridge Improvement Project has already completed significant upgrades, including painting and concrete repairs. The current phase focuses on enhancing the bridge with a new surface layer, a designated bike lane, and updated safety bollards to better serve our community.
