Multi-Agency Shred-a-thon, Drug Take Back & Electronics Recycling
On Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is partnering with local agencies to provide residents a safe way to dispose of their personal documents and recycle old electronics at Bill Bird Marina (Haulover Park) 10800 Collins Ave.
Open to residents of participating municipalities only. ID with address required. Participating municipalities include Sunny Isles Beach, Bay Harbor Islands, Aventura, and Surfside. No business shredding.
Accepted items include: Electronics (Cell phones, DVD players, computers, microwaves, TVs, etc.), batteries, loose cords, personal documents, and prescription medications.

Items not accepted: Large kitchen appliances (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers), cardboard, CDs, DVDs, binders, x-rays or plastic.
There is a 3 box limit at the SHRED-A-THON.
