City Manager's 2025 Annual Report
Published on January 12, 2026
I am pleased to present the City of Sunny Isles Beach Annual Report for 2025. This report shares a few highlights from the past year, offering statistics and insight into city projects and initiatives. We have completely revamped our report to make it user-friendly and easy to read.
This past year featured a focus on bringing essential services directly to our residents — making it easier than ever to get things done without having to leave the City. We introduced Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Resident Support Sessions on the first Wednesday of every month, giving residents convenient access to guidance on condominium and COA-related questions. We also continued to host our popular Mini-FLOW events, where residents can renew their driver’s license, obtain an ID card, update vehicle registration, and more.
This year also marked the launch of our All-in-One Services event where residents got to meet face-to-face with representatives from the Tax Collector's Office, Supervisor of Elections, Clerk of Courts, and the Golden Passport program — all in one place. From voter registration to license renewals and court services, attendees took advantage of these essential services right here in Sunny Isles Beach.
Our efforts to expand access to county services continued through our strong partnership with Miami-Dade County. The Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser hosted a town hall in Sunny Isles Beach, offering residents valuable guidance on homestead exemptions and other property tax savings.
Another highlight of this past year was our Family Resource Day, which brought together a variety of county, city, and community service providers in a fun and welcoming environment that also featured entertainment for the whole family. I’m pleased to share that this event will return in 2026 with even more ways for residents to engage. We look forward to partnering with additional agencies to expand access to essential services and enhance the experience for residents.
As always, our city leaders and I remain committed to listening to our community and ensuring you feel connected to the work we do every day. I encourage you to attend our City Commission meetings and workshops, and I invite you to reach out to me by calling 305.792.1730, emailing citymanager@sibfl.net, or submitting a service request through our citizen engagement app, My Sunny Isles Beach.
I look forward to the continued progress and many accomplishments we will achieve together as a community in the year ahead.
