The City invites residents, developers, and community stakeholders to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, July 1 at 6 p.m. in the Government Center, first-floor meeting room, to learn about important updates to local ordinances affecting single-family home construction.

During the meeting, city planning staff will present proposed amendments aimed at improving residential design standards and clarifying regulations. Topics will include:

Setback Encroachments: Updated regulations for how far structures can extend into required yard setbacks.

Fence Standards: Clarifying the design, height, and placement of residential fencing.

Minimum Landscape Requirements: New standards to enhance landscaping and promote greener neighborhoods.

This is a valuable opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and stay informed about changes that may impact future residential projects. We encourage everyone with an interest in local development to attend and participate.
