Lane Closure on 189 Street Tuesday for WASD Repairs

Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crews will begin work at Pump Station 316, located near 18909 Atlantic Boulevard, starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.

Repairs will take place inside the station; however, one lane of 189 Street from Atlantic Boulevard to Collins Avenue will be used by WASD crews for staging.

Police will be on site managing traffic and detours. The job is expected to be completed within 11 hours.

Motorists should expect delays, use caution in the area, and allow extra travel time.
